Fights Dump

Are fist fights aloud in high school Lacrosse?

I will be a freshmen and will be joining Lacrosse. What would be a good position for a big guy?

  1. No of course not.
  2. A good position would be to ask this question in the lacrosse section and not the hockey section. Hey! I was all smiles when I was answering! Honest!
  3. hey take it easy paul o there isnt one. and it depends on speed and stamina and skills not size. but generall bigger guys play defence, or even goalie. i too will be a freshman lax pplayer
  4. Fist fights aren't allowed in high-school Anything. Bastards take the fun out of everything. A good position is behind the kid who's bending over. Can't remember if I learned that in football or prison.
  5. I think you should concentrate harder during English class first...
  6. no they are not . if fighting penatly called . you recieve game misconduct . suspension following game . second time season suspension . to many scholarships available to lose yor temper . best position , alwaystart at defence , and work your way up the field to attack . best way to learn this great game
  7. Although lacrosse is considered to be violent, you should check out pro, D1, D4, and high school lacrosse games. The higher up in skill level the more passing and less physical contact you will find. Any actions that are intended to cause physical harm to a player are not a part of the game. You should always try to, "play the ball, not the man". As for your choice you should consider what you want to accomplish on the field. Do you like to run: Middie Do you want to score: Attack Do you want to whack people: Defense Do you want to stand there while people launch 3" solid rubber balls at you at 50+ mph (faster at varsity level): Goalie Whatever your choice have fun.
